When should I apply?

Applications can be submitted anytime throughout the year. Sending it in during the Winter and Spring is best. It's best to apply before April 15th. All applications received before that date are reviewed on an equal basis. Applications received after that date are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

When should I get my FANS application in?

No later than July 15th.

When does the Fall Term begin?

Usually the first week in September. You will be informed of the exact dates once your application has been accepted.

When does the Fall Term end?

The middle of December. The exact date will vary from year to year.

Will I be able to come home at Christmas?

Yes. FANS provides single students with return air fare home at Christmas. The holiday is for two weeks.

When does the Winter Term begin?

The first week of January (again, precise dates will vary from year to year). Please note that the first "work" week of the Winter Term is usually spent in one's home community, doing a fieldwork assignment.

When does the Winter Term end?

The middle of May. Precise dates will vary depending on the year.

When would I graduate?

The middle of May. Again, precise dates will vary from year to year.
