This course examines public administration in Nunavut, i.e.
how government works. Students explore the issues and challenges
that go with creating a government that serves a relatively
small population over such a large area as Nunavut. They also
examine the relationship between politicians, bureaucrats,
and the people they try to serve at the community level. The
Nunavut experience is also compared with that of people in
other parts of the world who have faced similar challenges.
