What should I bring?

LOTS OF I.D. !!! , especially your birth certificate, health card, SIN card, Nunavut Land Claim beneficiary's card and driver's licence (if you have one). ID is necessary to do things like open bank accounts, get passports, and even to buy cigarettes if you look young!

If you need to replace any ID, call us at 1-613-244-4937 and we'll tell you how to do it.

MONEY , especially to help you get through the first few weeks. It takes a couple of weeks for FANS to start sending you money, so the more you can bring with you, the easier it will be while you're getting settled in Ottawa.

BASIC PERSONAL ITEMS - but don't buy anything new to bring with you. If you need something it will be cheaper to buy once you get to Ottawa.
